Skip’s design philosophy is simple: Create the best user experience possible and test the hell out of it.

Our team of developers use problem solving and testing as a foundation for innovation to create the best possible experience for our loyal Skipsters. Skip is a Sensis product and grew from a simple idea raised in an innovation workshop, and after thousands of hours of testing, refining and millions of lines of code, it has grown to become the app you know and love, but we’re pretty modest about it all, so whatever.

We started Skip because we love coffee and dogs but loathe waiting. The light-bulb moment for Skip came during a dog walk. One sunny day our Product Manager was out walking her dog and wanted a coffee but didn’t want to leave her tied up in the sun while they waited for a brew. If only there was an app that let you skip the queue.
